The Root Chakra (Muladhara) is the foundation of your entire energetic system. It governs your sense of safety, stability, and connection to the physical world.

Located at the base of the spine, this chakra is what anchors you into your body and into life itself. When it is balanced, you feel grounded, secure, and present. When it is blocked, fear, anxiety, and instability can arise.

This is the energy center that helps you feel: I am safe. I am supported. I belong here.

What is the Root Chakra?

The Root Chakra is the first of the seven main chakras and acts as the energetic foundation for all other centers.

It is associated with survival, safety, grounding, and physical embodiment. This chakra connects you to your body, your environment, and your basic needs such as safety, home, money, and physical stability.

When the Root Chakra is strong, everything else in your system has a stable base to build upon.
