Peppermint oil is one of my staple oils. I personally use Doterra essential oils because I prefer the quality. You can use any brand as long as it doesn't have any added carrier oils, especially for ingesting.
Tip 1: Take 1 to 2 drops of peppermint oil and rub on the back of your neck, it will help cool down your body through the hot summer months...or in Atlanta's case...most months out of the year.
WARNING: Be careful not to touch your eyes after applying it. Eek!
Tip 2: Place 1 drop in water…or for an added burst of freshness, place a drop on your tongue and follow with a sip of water...it's refreshing + energizing. Try it!
Other uses for peppermint oil:
- Rub a drop underneath your nose or diffuse in the air for mental clarity + focus
- Aids in digestion + settles an upset stomach
- Rub on temples to relieve headaches
